Introduction
The Zhumu Furniture Design System supports creating countertops by freely drawing surfaces or by selecting cabinets. However, if the cabinet arrangement is too complex or contains errors, countertop creation may not work properly. Generally, I recommend creating countertops by freely drawing surfaces.
Creating Countertops by Drawing Surfaces
- Before drawing the countertop, first arrange the cabinets properly.
- Draw the surface in counter-clockwise direction from any corner (as shown in the figure, follow the sequence 1-6-1)
Before creating the countertop, pay special attention to the contact points between cabinets and walls. The system will automatically recognize areas contacting walls as backsplashes, and areas not contacting walls as front splashes.
Select the surface, right-click to create the countertop, and choose different cross-section data and materials according to requirements.
